Binda believes that how we treat the environment today affects our children tomorrow.

To help sustain the natural environment for our children we have created our products in a responsible, ecological and harmonious way with the following features to reduce their environmental impact.

		Grey Water Safe
		At Binda we are incredibly proud that our bath care products are grey water safe, which means they can safely go down your drain and onto your garden. All our ingredients are biodegradable and of natural origin and so won’t harm your plants or animals. Water recycling is a particularly important aspect of Australian living, and a full bathtub each day is a substantial amount of water to conserve.

		Animal and Insect Safe
		Although there is currently no testing for this within Australia, we believe our products will cause no harm to the animals and insects that may come into contact with it if used as grey water. What this means, is that to our knowledge, none of our ingredients are xenotoxin, meaning they can’t change the fertility or reproduction of animals or their hormone production.

		Recycled Board
		We are proud that Binda boxes are made locally from 95% recycled fibre. This is so important to us – it means that we don’t need to cut down more valuable trees.

		Australian Made
		Australian made and locally produced goods are important as they reduce carbon emissions. By simply not having to ship goods around the globe we are helping our planet and the environment. The negative effects of fuel emissions on our planet are clear, and so we at Binda minimise this to the best of our ability by sourcing locally produced goods whenever possible.

		Organic Cotton
		The certified organic cotton washers and bunny rabbit we offer at Binda are important to the health of our children by reducing the chemicals they are exposed to. Just as important is the health of our planet. The cotton industry is rife with insecticides accounting for 25% of the world’s pesticide usage, making it one of the most toxic industries to affect our waterways, our land, our animals and our planet.

		Against Animal Testing
		Binda is against animal testing. We feel very strongly that it is an unnecessary practice in the skin care industry. We believe there is ample medical and safety research readily available on all Binda ingredients.
